Advanced Business Systems was founded in 1984 by Larry W. Snow in Tallahassee, Florida. Larry built the company on a straightforward idea: treat clients like neighbors, not account numbers, and the business takes care of itself. Forty-plus years later, that’s still how we operate.
Larry’s son, Brian Snow, now leads the company as President. Brian grew up in Tallahassee and has spent his career here — building on what his father started, expanding into managed IT and phone systems, and keeping the same commitment to local service that’s been the foundation since day one.
What We Do
ABS is an authorized dealer and service provider for Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, and Toshiba equipment. We sell and lease copiers, multifunction printers, and related office equipment across Tallahassee, Thomasville, and North Florida & South Georgia. We also provide Managed Print Services — monitoring, supplies, and service under one predictable monthly rate — and Managed IT and Network Services for businesses that need reliable local tech support without a full-time IT hire. And we install and support business phone systems — modern VoIP that works whether your team is in the office or not.
We’re not a national company with a Tallahassee address. We’re a Tallahassee company, period. Our technicians live here. Our sales team has been here for years. When you call us, you’re talking to someone who might know your building, your street, or your previous copier vendor.
Our Building
We’ve operated out of 1236 N Monroe Street since 1986 — a 12,500 square foot facility we own on one of Tallahassee’s main commercial corridors. It’s where we warehouse equipment, train technicians, and run the business. It’s not a satellite office or a shared address. It’s where ABS works.
