Can we purchase copiers through the Florida NASPO contract?
Yes. Advanced Business Systems is an authorized reseller on contract #44100000-24-NASPO-ACS for Canon, Ricoh, and Toshiba equipment and related services. Kyocera is also available from ABS, but not through the NASPO contract.
Do Florida agencies need quotes to buy a copier on the NASPO contract?
Usually not. No formal bid is needed: the contract was competitively awarded through NASPO ValuePoint and is an approved Florida Alternate Contract Source. For copier and printer purchases under $35,000, Florida does not require state agencies to get quotes, so most agencies simply issue a purchase order to an authorized reseller like ABS. Larger purchases, service contracts, and anything your agency classifies as IT can carry extra steps under Florida Rule 60A-1.043, and every agency has its own internal purchasing rules, so your purchasing office has the final say. ABS provides everything your office needs, including the manufacturer’s NASPO master agreement number for the purchase order.
